Taunton and Mid-Somerset Ultimate Frisbee Network

Hello, and welcome to the website for the Taunton and Mid-Somerset Ultimate Frisbee Network (formly Taunton Ultimate Frisbee Club). This website is currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION, any help would be appreciated!

Due to the lack of university in Taunton we found it difficult to get enough people along to play ultimate frisbee at training sessions and although we still have access to the venues we are not currently running sessions. Therefore we have decided to change the structure of the club into a network, although this page is not the final site yet. The basic plan is as follows:

  • Potential players can sign up on the website
  • The website will have a diary showing the next sessions
  • Any registered player can organise a session
  • The sessions will ask all other players to confirm whether or not they are coming (so we know the likely game i.e. hot box, disc golf or ultimate)
  • Players that accept a session will be notified if a session is cancelled
  • The old regular time slots will be available with the venues at Kings College / Hall
  • If we have good enough numbers and interest we will still be able to enter a Tone Raiders team into a competition!
